SYNOPSIS
Au fil de moments dans la vie de trois groupes d’adolescentes, d'images glanées sur le web et de vidéos en direct (« live ») de jeunes femmes aux quatre coins du globe, JOUVENCELLES nous plonge dans l'univers des adolescentes d'aujourd'hui. Nous observons avec délicatesse une génération hyperconnectée mais isolée, habitée par une puissante lucidité, une lutte intérieure contre l'obsession de l'image de soi, et un besoin d’affirmation de soi face à un complexe sentiment d’aliénation.

Through moments in the lives of three groups of girls, images gleaned from the web and live streams of young women around the world, BLOOM delves into the world of today's teenage girls. We delicately observe a hyper-connected but lonely generation inhabited by great lucidity, an inner struggle with self-image obsession, and a need for self-affirmation in the face of a complex sense of alienation.
